McCormick & Company's Audit Committee dismissed Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as its independent registered public accounting firm on September 24, 2026, effective upon filing the fiscal year 2026 10-K. The dismissal resulted from EY not being considered independent following the anticipated closing of transactions involving Unilever PLC's foods business, announced March 31, 2026.
The committee subsequently engaged KPMG LLP as the new independent auditor for the fiscal year ending November 30, 2027, effective upon EY's departure.
