Corteva, Inc. reached a settlement on September 9, 2026, with the State of North Carolina and state subdivisions for statewide PFAS claims. As part of a collective $455 million payment over 15 years, Corteva's share is approximately $66 million. Corteva and DuPont also guarantee The Chemours Company's share and established a $135 million reserve fund for Chemours' compliance with a 2019 consent order.
