On October 8, 2026, American Express National Bank (AENB), a unit of American Express Company, consented to an order from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). AENB agreed to pay a $350 million civil money penalty to resolve previously disclosed financial crimes compliance issues. This penalty is not expected to impact 2026 full-year guidance or 2027 guidance.
